The Industry Warriors
All my life I wanted to be a video game tester. You know that guy that gets all the latest video games and let the creators know what is good or bad about the game. Well now that I am writing about it that makes me want to give props to all those men and women, yes I said women that are out there my age holding it down and creating games that peek my interest. Remember games have to appeal to my age group as well as those younger than me in order for the title to be a success. Those warriors in the industry much respect to you and keep up the good work.
Fallen Comrades
Some times games become so good and competitive that we loss our mind playing them. I was almost a fallen comrade, from the first person video game that had a character named Snake in it. You guys know the name of the game Metal Gear Solid. I played that game from 9am in the morning until 9pm that night and had to go back to work. I don't remember eating or going to the bathroom that day. From that day on I said I am never doing that again, that game was almost the down fall of my gaming career. To those that have lost your mind and swore never to play again, I can give you rest and let you know that there is a life after video games. I just don't want to find it.
The Retired Gamer
To the retired gamer, I know that sometimes there is a recession in the industry, but don't let no one force you from doing something you love. May one day you play Donkey Kong and get some balls to continue your quest of euphoria from the satisfaction of completing a board or game title. You just have to be a great compromiser with your spouse. If that don't work get the kids to start playing that way you can use the excuse that the kids need someone to play with them. This is a position as long as there is a kid boy in the house I will forever be playing video games, so have that baby, invite a nephew over, or a cousin that likes video games. Remember they have to be young and like a cousin or nephew. You can not have a relative the same age as you or else it will not work. Video game rental 123 calls out all gamers to game on gamers game on.
