The Albuquerque Comfort Inn & Suites North in Albuquerque, New Mexico
A Reasonable Price for a Good Night of Sleep
The pros of the Albuquerque Comfort Inn & Suites North are as follows:
*The staff was very friendly and onsite security was provided.
*The king size bed was very comfortable and the room was a reasonable size.
*My room was very clean and had a microwave and small refrigerator.
*Compared to other Albuquerque hotels I have stayed in over the last 6 years, the Comfort Inn & Suites North was reasonably priced and quiet.
*Free high speed internet access and a heated indoor pool.
*A free breakfast is provided to each guest.
*The hotel partnered with a room service business called "Order Inn" so that you can get food delivered to your room rather than searching for a restaurant after a long drive or flight.
The cons of the Albuquerque Comfort Inn & Suites North are as follows:
*If you are traveling on the main Interstate, which is I-40, you will have to drive about 10 minutes off the Interstate to find this Albuquerque Comfort Inn & Suites North. A good GPS will come in handy.
*I stayed on the 3rd floor and found that the hallway smelled slightly of cigarette smoke, even though the 3rd floor is strictly non-smoking. My room did not smell of smoke.
*The free breakfast was not quite as good as the other Comfort Inn's I have stayed at around the country. The coffee was ok but they only had powdered creamer.
Overall I would give the Albuquerque Comfort Inn & Suites North just under a 3 star out of 4 rating. They have room for improvement. However, I have stayed at 4 other hotels in Albuquerque in the last few years, and found this one to be clean, comfortable and relaxing enough for a good night of sleep. A plus for traveling pet owners is that the Albuquerque Comfort Inn & Suites North is a pet friendly hotel, though you will be charged $15 for each pet.
