The Amazing Race Finds Its Final Three

Reality Rehash
The Amazing Race has found its final three teams for the finale and it was pretty easy for them to do so, considering we had our second give up this season. The final four remained in Prague, Czech Republic for their penultimate leg and this time raced entirely at night. After gaining their first clue, teams were off to the Road Block except for Ericka and Brian. Since the last round was a non elimination leg Ericka and Brian had to face a daunting Speed Bump. They had to find a bar, oh so hard, mix a drink, another toughie, then actually drink the alcoholic beverage. Wow that was probably the toughest thing I've seen yet! Not really, but you get the point.

Meghan was the first to complete the Road Block and did so before any other teams arrived. They had to search through several ringing telephones to hear five letters, then unscramble the letters to form the name Franz. Meghan found the word in two tries but the rest wouldn't have as much luck. Dan arrived next and quickly found the words as did Big Easy. Both struggled to find the word so they decided to work together, somewhat. Once Dan found the name he simply told Big Easy that the word started with F, leaving him in the dust and proving that the brothers, or at least Dan, are a sure fire villain. Even if it was smart for their game play.

Brian arrived while Big Easy was still trying to get word and passed him by finding it on his own. That didn't sit well with Big Easy who decided to quit the Road Block, causing he and Flight Time to sit for four hours hoping someone would screw up. I don't get why they would do something so stupid. Big Easy surely would have found the name within those four hours... so it just doesn't make sense. Oh well, the other three teams moved on and froze their butts off in a 160 degree below zero celsius freezing room for some odd reason before moving onto the Detour.

The Detour had the teams either slopping mud on a wooden statue then carrying it to a church or carrying 30 beer mugs across town while being heckled by locals. Meghan/Cheyne chose the statue and easily put the mud on. They had issues moving it across town though with Cheyne whining the entire way. They finished first and that put them in the finals for the win, which I have a feeling they will. Sam and Dan checked in second after bickering the entire way. Their statue had a broken arm so I'm not sure how they accepted it but somehow they pulled it off, putting them in second.

Last but not least we have Brian and Ericka who were heckled by locals and Ericka almost punched one of them out. Turns out their luck was with them this time around as they finished in third, keeping them in the game while the Globetrotters were sent to the Pit Stop early and told their fate. We all knew all along that they would be going, nobody has pulled off a "quit and still stay" maneuver other then Rob and Amber so they're out. As Heidi Klum would say. I'm pleased with the final three and cannot wait to see who wins. I wish we could just move on to next season and see how Jordan and Jeff do, but sadly we have to wait two grueling months before we can even get a taste of a Big Brother fix yet again.
