"The sixth edition of the Amazon International Fair - FIAM 2011, will take place from 26th to 29th October, 2011, at Studio 5 Convention Center, in Manaus, capital of the Amazon State, Brazil. This event is promoted by the Superintendency of the Manaus Free Zone - SUFRAMA, a Federal Autharchy linked to the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.

"The Amazon International Fair (FIAM), sponsored by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, via its Superintendence of the Manaus Free Zone - SUFRAMA, is part of the official Government-published Brazilian Exhibition and Fair Calendar. The states of Acre, Amapa, Amazonas, Rondonia and Roraima participate as partners, whereas Maranhao, Mato Grosso, Para and Tocantins are guests.
FIAM´s program will comprise several attractions, including exhibits and the launch of manufactured and handcrafted products, general and business rounds, business hall and innovative entrepreneurship, a
sciences exhibition, seminars on subjects ranging from strategies to regional development, as well as technical visits to companies located in the Manaus Industrial Sector and research institutes.
The event is attended by representatives of national and international companies; government institutions and agencies in charge of product purchases and of investments in regional development; tourism operators; partners in science and technology areas; logistics agents, and trade media professionals.
