The New American Revolution- 2010!

Is the Plane Crash in Austin Texas, Just the Beginning?

Rose Richmond
With the ending of the horrifying administration of George Bush and the beginning of the Obama Desperation Tour, America is struggling to maintain it's composure. It is trying to accept the fact that unemployment is in double digits and banks aren't giving money out anymore and the average American is being pushed harder than ever.

Americans across the country are dealing with their own individual sets of problems that mirror millions of others. They are struggling to keep their jobs or find any job, just to pay the bills. They are curtailing spending for necessary items because they aren't sure where we are going. The Government meanwhile is sitting in Washington bouncing from one idea to another. We went from the NO SHOW Bush administration, where you might see ole Georgie once every 3 months, actually talking, to Obama, who can't stop talking. He is on the TV everyday, somewhere, talking about something. That is suppose to reassure Americans that he has it under control? No.

That is probably a part of what Andrew Stack Ill had on his mind when he crashed into the IRS building last week. A desperate American, obviously an intelligent man to be a software engineer, down to his last straw. Family in ruins, fighting with the IRS, desperate for some type of relief, still hearing the idiots on TV telling him how bad it is. How bad the President is, how bad everything is. It appears, Mr Stack had been dealing with this for a minute. He couldn't take the crap anymore.

How many Americans are dealing with similar issues? How many are tired of the crap? I would venture to say that the Tea Party is one of those groups of people. I would be willing to say that they aren't the only ones that are tired. America is coming to it's wits end over the way Government is not getting anything done. They are talking, but we are not seeing positive action. It is like seeing someone talk, but you aren't hearing anything...

It seems President Obama spends a lot of time doing nothing. He is out campaigning, going to foreign countries, and generally goofing off, if you ask the 50 plus percent of people who don't like him now. Are we headed for a Revolution in America? I am wary to say, I think we might be. Not just a Revolution of voting and protesting. I am concerned we are headed for confrontations, domestic terrorism and general revolt from many average citizens.

People like Andrew Stack are just plain tired of this. Just hearing the announcement that the IRS is hiring more people, to do more audits, to penalize more people for mistakes on taxes, to collect more money, must have been one of the final factors that threw Mr. Stack off the roof. He just couldn't maintain anymore.

Will we witness in our lifetime an honest too goodness, revolt in this country? Will America ever be a country, for the people and by the people again? I think the violence looms ever closer. Not Al Qaeda crashing into NY City buildings, but the average, God Fearing, true blue American, going berserk. The stress of struggling and trusting your government and hoping for the best is getting to many. We have floated in prosperity for 20 years. We have bought things that we couldn't afford in the past. We have lived high on the hog and had so much fun.

Now, the economy doesn't seem like it is coming back anytime soon. The Government continues to play dirty games and stick it to us. It doesn't matter which party it is. They are all dirty to the bone. They are all out for themselves. America is in a sinkhole and can't get out. Americans are blaming the leaders and the organizations like the IRS for any and all troubles. I pray that someone will figure out the solution before it is too late. I pray that Americans do not resort to violence such as Andrew Stack did. I am afraid that for many it may be past the boiling point and the New American Revolution may already be in motion.

God Bless and Help America!

It appears after the George Bush debacle, Obama is not fairing much better. Does it matter? No. They are all on their own trip.

I think you hit the nail right on the head with this. If you have never seen how we got into the mess we are in take a look at the following webpage. I look into my sons eyes and have a hard time telling him the reality of his future because of the week minded government officials we have had. We need to organize and really make a stand that will wake up the politicians we do have.

In the past 25-30 years government has passed so many laws looking out for business only. Business is great, I love capitalism, until the capitalist's turn into satin spawn. Greedy, would be Kings of their own invention. Using their employees and customers as pawns to create their own universes. Able to pay themselves and their cronies obscene amounts of money (because they are working so hard?) so they will have their own utopian universe to live in. High and above the low life's they have to deal with, to live the way they do. And these Kings run the Banks, Insurance, Gas, Phones, and Government. Anything and everything people have to have to live in America. American workers expect to much. They want to be paid a wage that they can actually live on, in America. To have a house, to be able to pay for their own healthcare, to be able to educate their children well. Also, to be able to have enough money to recreate you know the right to some happiness. Well that just doesn'

It is far past time to take back our soverignty and re-instill our constitutional rights. We need a vastly limited govt. with very limited power, and we as a people need to start doing it for ourselves and stop relying on govt. handouts. If you're lazy and want ahandout go to Canada; they will love you; if you work hard and want to contribute to the revitalization of a great country; stay and work your arse off and not just hard work, but smart work. Revolution or not, we have to stop the Govt. before we are all mindless slaves; most of us are currently; lets not allow it to get any worse. It's time to take back our country and control it once again!!!!!!!

Hard for me not to agree since it's starting to smell like where I came from. It must be either my bad luck, my native misery that just can't leave me alone or both. I think the ball is already in motion; and good times are ahead. Keep up the good work everybody. God bless the US of A.

Everybody wants to blame Obama and his administration. Yet just a few statements before you said it was policies created years ago. Kind of unclear what your real feelings are. You were right. It is from many many years of government abuse. Obama hasn't been in long enough for it to be his fault. It is all of their faults for the last 25 years.

I have to say this. As one of the Americans struggling, who don't use credit cards or who has an unpayable mortgage, I don't think everybody struggling was a stupid American. We live modestly and do not have outrageous debt. However, when my husband lost his job, due to the government letting manufacturing go out the door, it became a massive issue. We have been responsible, saved money, lived frugally. However, when there is no jobs, what then? Should we feel like the government shouldn't do something, after they destroyed the economy? Sure you are single, debt free and whatever else you said, but everyone isn't single and everyone don't do the work you do. Think before you speak. We aren't waiting for a handout. We want to be working. However, the stupid government screwed that pooch. Wake up. Your circumstances aren't everyone's and everyone wasn't irresponsible because they are struggling stupid.

The government is just an easy target for stupid greedy choices Americans have been making. Choosing to accumulate credit card debt, choosing to take out a mortage that you cannot afford, choosing to have more children than you can afford, choosing to take out student loans for and upper class education and then spend your time at parties instead of studying and taking trips abroad on student loan money rather than living at home and going to a local State University. People calling for a "Revolution" are financial idiots crying to Uncle Sam to solve their financial problems. If there is a revolution it will be a shameful one run by people who don't take responsibility for themselves and expect the government to take care of them but also don't want to pay taxes and don't know the meaning of the words saving and frugality and personal responsibility. it will be a revolution lead by children in adult bodies.

It has been feeling bad for a while so all of us non-millionaires are stressed out indeed, Rose. The numbers are getting better, though. We can't expect to be out of the recession now considering how all predictions made last year said we should still be sinking well into next year. We're actually ahead of schedule (even foreclosure rate here in San Diego is improving). Just gotta hang in there a few more months, I think. :o)
