The Anatomy of desire -
Could Henry Gray have captured it?
Sketched its wiry sinews
Or the meat and bone of it?
A region of the moon veiled from us
Dark... a haunt of our imagination
Like a shade that possesses us.
Still - the chambers of our hearts
Swell with a longing for it
Even when the mind understands
That... desire may destroy us.

This poem could be an ode to Gov. Mark Sanford. Desire took him all the way to Argentina and then destroyed him.
You have an amazing talent!
