It was big news when Downtown Brooklyn's rental complex, the Andrea, had completely rented out all 95 of its units. The only thing that was not rented out was the large retail space on the ground floor of this Myrtle Avenue property.
Negotiations for a supermarket to move into the Andrea were going on for months, but CVS recently signed a lease for the retail space according to Curbed NY.
This will be a convenient addition for both Downtown Brooklyn and the Andrea's future tenants. The Andrea is owned by John Catsimatidis' Red Apple Group is located at 218 Myrtle Avenue.
