This is the annual St. Mary's Fall Festival in St. Clair. It runs for 4 p.m. Friday, September 28th, through 9 p.m. Sunday, the 30th. The festival will feature the return of the Skerbeck Bros. Show, bake tent, white elephant tent, farmer's market, craft tent, live bands, raffles, specialty dinners, food and beverage tent as well as concessions.

The white elephant tent is all donated goods for sale. This year there will not be clothing or exercise equipment accepted due to space limitations. But there will still be plenty of treasure for you to shop for. This year's raffle includes 7 cash prizes as well as a big screen TV. The beverage tent will be a sports bar on Sunday so you can watch your favorite football teams play, on a big screen TV. At the end of the night, the TV will be raffled off. Tickets are just $10 and only 1,000 tickets will be available. The bake tent will have traditional delights such as pies, cookies, brownies, cakes, and more. The specialty dinners being held this year are fish fry on Friday, Saturday is still open to a catering company, and Sunday will be chicken dinner. All of this will be located in the school's activates room. The entertainment will vary from day to day as well. Friday night will be music by the DT's. Saturday will be organists David Wagner in the afternoon and the band Nighthawk at night. Sunday's entertainment is the football game. All entertainment activities will take place in the beverage tent, which is located in the middle of Orchard Street between 6th and 9th streets. The road will be closed for traffic during the weekend. There will also be a Texas Hold 'Em tournament taking place on Saturday from 6-Midnigt. Registration starts at 5 and you must be 18 to participate. It is $50 to enter the tournament as well. This will take place in St. Mary's activity room. The Farmer's Market features locally grown fruits and vegetables. Activities that will be available for the children, besides the carnival rides, include face painting, hair beading, and other fun activities. If you buy you ride tickets before the festival begins, you can get them at a discounted price. These are available at the school's office.

So get out and enjoy the fun this coming weekend. This could be the last festival of the year. There's plenty to do for everyone, no matter what your age is.
