The Anti Aging Fight in the World of Skin Care
The Anti Aging Fight is On, Every Beauty Line Has a Wonder Product
I picked up a bit of information reading all these ads. The two important ingredients to watch for in the list of ingredients are Amino Peptides and Hydrolinoic acid. They are fillers and hydrators and take about 30 days to work although you should see results begin almost immediately. With all these products more is better when you apply them. Always do a patch test before using a product. Also, all these products ar intended to work on all ethnicities.
Here are just a few I came across.
L'Oreal offers Age Perfect Pro Calcium Night cream that offers stronger re-densified crease free skin. They also offer Skin Genesis to strengthen skin cells. This sells for $24.99 and is bio degradable. Penelope Cruz is a fan.
ROC offers deep wrinkle serum that will give your skin back 10 years. It also offers Lift and Defense night Cream to restore definition to facial features while you sleep. It says skin elasticity will be improved within 4 to 8 weeks.
Neutrogena says use Anti Wrinkle Intensive cream because laugh lines aren't funny.
Stri Vectin will get rid of deep wrinkles.
DDF delivers potent levels of peptide anti oxident complex.
How about Revlon Age Defying Make up with Botafirm to fight fine lines by 50% .
Rejuviderm offers smooth natural skin without wrinkles.
Oil of Olay will break the dry skin cycle. Olay Definitely Deep Penetrating Moisturizer 1.7 oz at $27.99 and this also targets brown spots
Cover Girl sells Advanced Radience Anti Defying Liquid Make up so you can fight the wrinkles with both your moisturizer and foundation.
Vital Radience formulated for women over 50 charges $18.50 and is to be used in place of foundation or with nighttime coverage cream
.
Almay has Anti Aging Daily Lotion 4 oz for $19.99. .
Neutrogena makes an anti oxident age reneal product for $19.99
University Medical produces Wrinkle Free which replaces Botox and Restylin by telling your muscles not to contract.
Moisturizer and sunscreen should be applied under your foundation. Your daytime lotion should have at least a SPF15 at the least. So its clean, apply sunscreen, use your serum, anti aging product and then mosturize.
How many of these products actually work? How much money are you willing to invest in finding the one that really does something for you? That's up tp ypu. This is a billion dollar industry relying on the fear of showing one's age. This has become a war.
Anyone who is fighting the good fight against aging and does not want to or cannot afford to go under the knife can roam around any department or drugstore store and find a different product at each make up counter. Prices range from hundreds of dollars to a few dollars depending on where you shop and whose line you choose.
A few hints: Do not pile on make up as you get older. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Do not use heavy powders, they dry up your natural oils. If you are over fifty you want to add moisture not remove it. Moisturizer and sunscreen should be applied under your foundation.
I remember Vaseline and Ponds cold cream being rather popular years and years ago. Personally, I really do swear by Mary Kay Night Emollient cream and fairly good genetics. I always looked young for my age and it's only just catching up with me at age 64. But I've been applying creams and sunscreens and avioding the sun for a long time.
I believe that most moisturizers and a really good sunscreen worn all the time work to prevent aging but I also think you have to accept a certain amount of character as you age unless you want to go the face lift route. I don't imagine most of these Hollywood plastic surgery candidates bodies match their faces. That must be something to see when they undress at night. Remember that line "you can't be too thin or too rich"? When you're aging too thin does not work, you wrinkle more. A little extra weight as you age plumps out your face. So, although now you'll be fighting wrinkles you needn't fight the weight as much. See, age does have its benefits.
