During September 19, 2006 The United Nations signed a treaty to fight and defend innocent people of all nations against the threat of terrorism. "The passing of the resolution on the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy with its annexed Plan of Action by 192 Member States represents a common testament that we, the United Nations, will face terrorism head on and that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, committed by whomever, wherever and for whatever purposes, must be condemned and shall not be tolerated." Even though these measures have been put in place - it has not stopped the terrorist from carrying out planned bombings that have disrupted the natural flow of everyday life throughout the world in which we live.
Most of the terrorist activity and networking is based in the Middle-East, and now it has begun to spread excessively in the direction of many other countries and nations throughout the world. The new terrorist cells and organizations are well funded, in addition to being very organized - which makes their network even more dangerous.
There are five reasons why terrorism will never be defeated, and why it will remain as a reminder that the threat of war will always exist. The lust for power in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq has ignited new terrorist cells, plus the preachers of hate deprive their own people of the necessities and human rights - which are why the nations of the world cannot defeat an enemy whom is willing to sacrifice his or her life for their twisted belief.
