Never be negative, even if it is meant as a joke. Women do not want to feel like a man needs someone to raise their self confidence. Also, another thing to remember when writing is to appear to be adventurous, and always remain a little mysterious. Make sure that if, for instance, you like to hike at night and skinny dip in lakes, then add it into your description. Women want to be with men that are exciting, spontaneous, and willing to do unexpected things at the drop of a hat. As for staying mysterious, do not list everything about yourself in your profile. Women do not want to know your whole life story right away, instead, highlight the most interesting and appealing aspects of your life and hobbies. If things click then women will want to know more about you, and if you stay a little mysterious then you will always have something to talk about.
