Something Your Teen Might Have on Their Wish List This Year!

For all the people that keep up on the latest gadgets the Asus EEE Keyboard is probably not new. Although it is not expected to be out until sometime in October of 2009, the Asus EEE Keyboard keeps with the Asus theme of small items with a big punch. When first sitting down to use the Asus EEE Keyboard, one of the first things that come to mind is where is the monitor, tower, and mouse? That is what makes the Asus EEE Keyboard unique and first in its class, because it is all of those things and more.

The Asus EEE Keyboard comes with its own 5-inch touch screen monitor built in allowing your touch to act as the mouse. What is really amazing with the Asus EEE Keyboard is the amount of hardware contained in such a small area. For example, the Asus EEE Keyboard contains a 1.6 ghz processor, 16GB SSD, 1GB memory, wireless b/g/n, Bluetooth, wireless UWB HDMI and HDMI. The Asus EEE Keyboard also comes with the option of a 32GB SSD instead of the 16.

The Asus EEE Keyboard may not seem practical only having a 5-inch screen. It could possibly turn a lot of new comers off to its potential. However, if you are looking to IM someone, or if you want to just look something up and don't want to sit at that old desktop to do it, the Asus EEE Keyboard will be the perfect option. It is also rumored to be starting in the range of $400, making it more affordable than the average laptop. It may not be a powerhouse compared to some mega computers out there, but it is a giant computer in a keyboard.

When first sitting down to a keyboard it is hard to imagine it as a computer, it is even harder when you see the sleek design and small size of the Asus EEE Keyboard. With the mobile possibilities and the nice clear touch screen, it will be hard not to picture the Asus EEE Keyboard in numerous homes, especially if the price tag is as low as it has been rumored to be. Many teens around the world will be waiting to be able to watch their favorite shows, IM their friends while surfing the net, and not have to get off the computer because someone else is waiting to use it. The Asus EEE Keyboard is an excellent choice for teens; I wouldn't recommend it for the big time gamer though.

Wow that's really expensive. I just bought a 10 inch netbook by Acer for only $400 and weighs less than 3lbs. There's no way I'd pay 400 bucks for something with a 5 inch screen!!!
