The Autumnal Equinox

A Seasonal Poem

T.C. Hana
Breezes come and lightly touch you, rustling your edge. You blow lightly, trembling at the air.Your stem comes free and there you go.Slightly you fall, slowly you flow.

Breezes come light and sweep you away. You rock back and forth, south and north.A sweep of the wind makes you come forth. You swirl around, then down.

Another light breeze is coming your way,Your journey has just started early in the day,The autumnal equinox is coming around. How many trips have you made around town?

The spinning leaf, so fine so frail. It spins around in a whimsical trail. It circles around, then up then down. The spinning leaf has spun around town.

Long-sentence poetry. Something I have not tried - but am now encouraged by your good work to do so!
