The Auxiliary Board of a Silver Lining Foundation Hosts a Pink Party September 10 at Casey Moran's

CHICAGO (August 2009)- Pink-attired revelers and supporters of A Silver Lining Foundation (ASLF) can celebrate at the Auxiliary Board's Pink Party, 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Thursday, September 10 at Casey Moran's, located in Chicago's Wrigleyville neighborhood at 3660 N. Clark St. Tickets for the all-you-can-drink celebration are $25 and can be purchased at www.asilverliningfoundation.org.

Sip drinks on Casey Moran's private patio and mingle with KISS-FM's Ty Bentli, who will be at Casey Moran's for the Pink Party. Men are also invited to don fuschia hues for the Pink Party, with special prizes given to pink-attired male partygoers.

"Our Auxiliary Board's Pink Party is the perfect way to end the summer, and we couldn't ask for a better host than Casey Moran's," says ASLF founder and breast cancer survivor Dr. Sandy Goldberg. "Mix and mingle with other pink partygoers and our friend Ty Bentli while supporting a cause near and dear to the hearts of many Chicagoans."

Launched in 2002 by Goldberg, NBC-5's nutrition expert, ASLF provides cancer related resource information including treatment options and support services to uninsured and underinsured individuals. All proceeds from the Pink Party support ASLF's unique Buy A Mom A Mammogram™ program, which funds screening mammograms at Illinois partner hospitals. Since the Buy A Mom A Mammogram™ program's inception in 2006, ASLF has provided more than 3,000 women with information about and access to no cost screening mammograms. In response to the growing number of women needing follow up testing due to a suspicious screening mammogram, ASLF began funding diagnostic testing in 2007.
