The Axion 7-inch Widescreen Portable Handheld TV - Product Review

It's a Waste of Money

I can't seem to get enough of the portable handheld DVD players and TVs. The last item I got was a portable DVD player which I ended up taking back because it stopped working. So I decided to try something new. I bought the Axion 7-inch widescreen portable hand-held TV for $130. I'm not sure why I paid that much for a portable TV, but I did and now I have something new to talk about.

There are things that I found interesting about the Axion 7" Widescreen portable handheld TV and a couple of things I found a little irritating. For the most part I am trying to enjoy my portable TV but part of me wants to return it.

What I didn't like about the Axion 7" Widescreen portable handheld TV

Now there are things that are a bit bothersome when it comes to the Axion
The fact that TV has become digital, I'm only able to watch channels in my area that broadcast channel over public airwaves. And another thing I found a bit bothersome was the fact that I had to be stationary to get a good signal. I guess it

I was able to at least utilize the antenna which gave me better reception and a few more channels. But for the most part the antenna was pretty useless. The 7" screen really made no difference when it came to watching the TV because like I stated I was limited in the channels I received. If I was able to at least see something interesting the screen might have been worth talking about.

Was there anything that I liked about the Axion 7" Widescreen portable handheld TV?

The main thing I enjoyed when it came to the Axion 7" Widescreen portable handheld TV was the flexibility. Being able to take it anywhere and watch a few channels out of boredom is pretty cool. That's what I thought before I actually became mobile with it.

The speakers were pretty decent as well ,which is a shame because I expected much more from this portable TV but was disappointed in the end.

The concept of a portable Television would have been a great idea before digital TV took over. At this point in time, I find it pretty useless and a waste of money. I refuse to use something that only offers great speakers when the focus should be more on the visual aspect of the product.

My conclusion?

I plan on sticking to what I know and that is portable DVD players. I don't find it worth my time to keep the Axion 7" Widescreen Portable Handheld TV because it's not capable of doing what it's suppose to do. Better luck next time is my motto.
