The show features Egyptian-American Ahmed Ahmed (Punk'd, Farenheit 9/11, The Wall Street Journal), Palestinian-American Aron Kader (Premium Blend, The Sheild, Newsweek), and Iranian-American Maz Jobrani (The Interpreter, Friday After Next, Curb Your Enthusiasm). The show also has guest comics Sam Tripoli (Premium Blend), Dean Obeidallah (Arab Comedy Festival) and Maysoon Zavid (Arab Comedy Festival).
The jokes told were not only for middle eastern viewers. All types of minorities can relate to these comics. Even Jews will also laugh at the similarities in culture and community. There were also some very funny impersonations of President Bush. You must check them out. Laughter is surely one thing that can bring us all closer together.
The Axis of Evil Comedy Special recently aired on Comedy Central March 10th at 11pm, fortunately Comedy Central has played it over again and hopefully will continue to do so. There is also a DVD which you can order online at Amazon.com featuring more clips that were not shown on TV. You can also watch clips on YouTube and Myspace to get a feel of how hysterical they really are.
