The Bachelor: High Flying and Crash Landing

Date nights and catfights have begun as Jake searches for his wife. However, bumpy rides have started already too. Michelle is a nut because she is so in love with a guy she barely knows. I wish she would have left on her own this week. Elizabeth is a nasty nanny who is a tease. Where is Mary Poppins when you need her? Elizabeth a kiss is romantic, not a ten page report on your life goals. Please drop the pure as the driven snow act. Christina, sitting in a corner at a photo shoot isn't a turn on; no wonder Jake sent you packing.

Roselyn was so awful that I don't know where to begin. She almost had Jake right where she wanted him; darn that pesky inappropriate relationship. I feel sorry for Jake because he seems like a nice guy but I see heartbreak on his horizon. Adios, Roselyn, you little minx.

The best date was Jake at Ali date in Palm Springs. Ali hates flying so of course, Jake takes her flying off for a dinner and a Chicago concert. Yes, all the references to flying were a bit cheesy; but sometimes romance can be a bit cheesy. Ali got the rose, of course. If she hadn't, I would have taken Jake's man card away. Ali is a frontrunner.

Tenley, while still cute will never make the best speaker because she stumbled over trying to tell Jake about her divorce. I know divorce and cheating are sensitive topics of discussion; but at least be somewhat articulate when talking to someone. I am still not sure whether I view Vienna as a beautiful city or as a sausage; however, she has a bit of substance and I do applaud her for talking to Jake about her romantic troubles. Vienna will probably be the girl that the other girls will hate, even if it isn't justified.

Jake is a nice guy but I will say that being nice might be his romantic downfall. He deserves to find true love and happiness However; he might be headed for a crash landing. Time will tell. Source: The Bachelor 1/11/10
