The Bachelor Jake Pavelka Chooses His Final Two

Amidst the beautiful St. Lucia surroundings, ABC's The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love, Jake Pavelka, narrowed down his choices for a potential wife to two-Tenley Molzahn and Vienna Girardi. Jake's final two women could not be more different.

Why, oh why, do I watch The Bachelor?
I have to admit I'm actually embarrassed to say I watch The Bachelor. But somehow it always draws me in no matter how ridiculous. Even this season when the actual "winner" of The Bachelor was leaked by RealitySteve at the start of the season, I still continued to watch. I have no idea why! Maybe deep down I'm a sucker for a romantic story. But in seasons past, I've only (in my opinion) seen two real romances-Trista and Ryan and Andrew and Jen (the latter couple didn't last). I think the majority of those who now go on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette have ulterior motives of extending their 15 minutes of fame.

The Bachelor, Jake Pavelka chooses Tenley as one of his final choices.
Tenley Molzaln has exhibited, since the first night, her sweet and kind nature. Jake must have noticed as well since he gave Tenley the first impression rose. Tenley's back story is one of divorce due to her ex-husband allegedly cheating on her during their 15 months of marriage. Her heartbreak over the divorce is apparent. Tenley is a devout Christian who saved herself for marriage. Jake is the first man she's kissed since her divorce. Is Tenley ready to jump into another marriage? She feels she is and her close-knit family, though cautious, is supporting her journey. They felt Jake was sincere in his intentions and if the road between Jake and Tenley led to marriage, they gave their blessings. Tenley is probably the most refreshing person that has ever graced The Bachelor with her strong morals and sweet personality. It almost makes you wonder "what's a nice girl like you . . ."-you get the idea! If Jake does not select Tenley something good has come out of the process for her-Tenley has realized she can love again.

The Bachelor
, Jake Pavelka chooses Vienna as one of his final choices.
I just don't get why Jake keeps picking Vienna. Every girl in the house had problems with Vienna. Many of whom told Jake outright that Vienna was trouble. Jake even said he liked her light, fun and "immature" personality. Odd for a man of Jake's age to like immaturity in a future wife. Vienna has come across as pushy, even telling the girls she had to be the last one to speak to Jake before a particular rose ceremony. Vienna, like Tenley, has been previously married. Vienna eloped and quickly got a divorce at a fairly young age. Vienna's "wild" side has emerged recently in tabloids with many photos of a scantily clad Vienna posing for the camera. Jake has talked candidly about his conservative, religious background and if what the tabloids say is true, Vienna making it to the final two is a puzzle.

The Bachelor,
Jake Pavelka's best choice was Ali.
Actually, Jake's best choice for a possible mate was Ali Fedotowski. Unfortunately, Ali had to leave when it got down to the final four due to job restrictions. Jake and Ali had an immediate connection and seemed the most natural with each other. Ali did attempt to come back a week later but Jake felt he had developed deeper feelings for the remaining three. In one week! On the February 16th episode of Ellen, Ali said she was surprised of the connection between Jake and Vienna. Ali and Vienna had a tumultuous relationship in the house whereas Ali and Tenley formed a close friendship. She hopes Jake picks Tenley but can understand now why he would select Vienna. If there is no surprising twist-such as Jake not selecting either of the two remaining then jetting off to sweep Ali off her feet-look for Ali to be the next Bachelorette.

The Bachelor, Jake Pavelka's final choice.
Tenley or Vienna? We won't know until the finale airs on March 1st who Jake picks as his final choice. Or we will? Rumors swirling on the Internet suggest Jake might wait until the After the Rose show to make his selection. Bachelor host Chris Harrison has told E! News has said the finale will "shock" and "disappoint" viewers.

Stayed tuned.

The Bachelor airs Monday nights on ABC at 8 p.m.
