The Bachelor Executive Producer Has Revealed a Reward for Information on Leak from Show

The Bachelor wedding in March will look to give some respect back to the format of The Bachelor amid spoilers, marriage proposals, and leaks on the set. In the midst of one of the more dramatic seasons on The Bachelor, producers are also preparing for the Jason Mesnick and Holly Malaney wedding that they will be airing on March 8th. It's going to be the first ever wedding of someone from The Bachelor and will seek to give a little bit of respect back to the way that ABC has been running the show. There was one couple that ended up getting married before (Ryan and Trista), but they were on the other show called The Bachelorette.

The attention has been swaying away from the wedding though, as fans of this season's run of The Bachelor have been swept up into the constant drama both on and off the television screen. On screen, ABC has been basically tricking viewers into tuning in by dropping hints that things might happen on the show and then revealing footage that was obviously altered. One of those "edits for ratings" was when they acted like one of the contestants was going to reveal that she was pregnant, used it to plug all of their advertisements, and then they cut the scene from the West Coast feed of the episode without even telling fans what was going on. It left people wondering if they had looked away from the screen when it happened.

In an interesting interview that executive producer Mike Fleiss had with Entertainment Weekly writer Lynette Rice, he talked about spoilers on the show, and even offered a $25 reward for information on the leak. The reason it came up is because of a blog that has been predicting what will happen in each episode of The Bachelor this season, and the correct predictions are leading people to believe he has inside information. All of the rumors and spoilers on the net just seem to be helping the show, as the ratings numbers keep going up, leading people to even hypothesize that ABC might already know what is going on.

The Bachelor airs at 8:00 p.m. on ABC each Monday.

I don't know if I care or not about their wedding, b/c of the controversy surrounding how they got together in the first place. I'd like to see how their lives are now though, so I'll watch :)
