The Bachelor Season 11

The couples almost never make it, but for some reason viewers keep tuning into The Bachelor each year. Maybe we are hopeless romantics rooting for a favorite girl or maybe we just like to see the antics of some of those down right desperate contestants. Either way season after season the show draws in ratings and people all across America talk about the episodes around the water cooler. Monday September 24th bachelor number eleven takes his crack at finding true love or maybe just a good time, who really knows what motivates these men.

Well, the buzz was that this years Bachelor was the best looking of all the previous bachelor's and I must say that he is pretty good looking. He very obviously does not need a television show to get a girlfriend, but then again most of the previous contestants probably didn't either. Brad Womack is the Texas bachelor that will have the honor of choosing the lady of his choice this year. Womack is the owner of several Austin, Texas club/bars, so not only is he good looking in true bachelor fashion he is successful as well.

The twenty five ladies vying for Brad's attention are sure to be a mix of the same types we have seen in the past. There are always a couple of crazy women in the group, the ones that love the bachelor the first night, the successful women, the partiers and the cool aloof girl that the bachelor always ends up being drawn to. Executive producer Mike Fleiss admits on TV Guides website to having some of the craziest contestants ever along with a few professional types.

The Bachelor will start off with a bang this year eliminating ten women in the very first rose ceremony. This should be a welcome change for viewers who have difficulty remembering all the names of the twenty five women. Additionally, the season will go by quicker making it less drawn out and more bearable to watch.

Overall, I don't consider myself I loyal viewer of the Bachelor, but I do watch it from time to time. The show has stayed pretty much the same from season to season making only minor changes to keep things fresh. I personally find that refreshing, because if it ain't broke don't fix it. This year looks to be more of the same, so I am sure viewers will be tuning in like every year to see who this years bachelor ultimately choses at seasons end. Not that who the bachelor picks matters, because rumor has it past bachelors have gone crawling back to the runner up after rejecting them.
