The Bachelor Season Finale Recap: Jake Chooses His Girl (Spoilers)

The Bachelor season finale aired Monday night, and Jake made his choice between Tenley and Vienna. The Bachelor season finale was much like past seasons, where a lot of filler is used to give background on how the season went for each girl, and why the bachelor might choose one of them. The bachelor this time around is Jake Pavelka, a pilot who was on the show The Bachelorette before being sent home. Now he has been brought back to select the girl of his choice from a group of 20+ women. When he made it to the final four this season, Ali decided to leave the show, putting Gia, Tenley, and Vienna in the final three, and then model Gia was sent home to leave the final two.

The season finale for The Bachelor was a two hour affair, letting both Vienna and Tenley go on their last one-on-one dates with Jake, as well as a meeting with his parents in order to help Jake make his final decision between the two girls. There was drama with both girls during the season, some of it drummed up by producers, and some involving other girls in the house. The producer created drama was their editing in order to make it look like Tenley was announcing to Jake that she was pregnant. Then there was Vienna, who didn't seem to get along with many of the other girls in the house, creating disdain among some of them (including Ali).

Jake chose Vienna in the end and offered her the ring he had picked out with her earlier in the season finale. It's a decision that may end up frustrating a number of fans that watch the show, but if it's what Jake wanted to see in his significant other, then who are we to judge the decision. It will be interesting to see how long the relationship lasts though, because quite a few of the couples that the shows have put together have not lasted very long. We will probably be hearing from Jake and Vienna again very soon, but next week we all get to watch The Bachelor Wedding between Jason Mesnick and Holly Malaney who met on the last season of The Bachelor.
