The Bachelor Vs. Bachelorette Scavenger Hunt

A Battle of Bridal Parties

Denise Kawaii
If you and your husband-to-be are planning a joint bachelor/bachelorette party, or you are going out with your friends separately on the same night to celebrate your impending marriage, you may want to get your party started by having a joint scavenger hunt. Classic Boys VS. Girls format, a battle of the sexes to see who can come out on top.

For this scavenger hunt, each team will need $20.00. The goal is for each team to purchase or otherwise obtain what's on their list without going over the $20.00 that they start with, in a time frame of two hours.

One point is awarded for each item purchased or obtained to the team. One point is awarded for each dollar that the team has left at the end of the game, and an extra bonus point is awarded for every item that the team gets for free. 25 points are awarded to each team that completes their list before the time is up. The team with the most points wins!

Here is what you're hunting for:

  • Scavenger Hunts are a great low-cost way to bring your frinds together for an evening of fun.
  • Working in teams makes the hunt more fun, and also keeps you safe in an unfamiliar part of town.
A movie called Scavenger Hunt was released in 1979, where an old millionaire demands a Scavenger Hunt must be held to determine who will inherit his fortune. Show this movie (if you can find it) at the start or end of your game as an added treat!
