The Bachelorette 2010 Episode 6 Recap and Review: Ali Shows Her Angry Side, as a Bachelorette Scandal Erupts

The sixth installment of the sixth season of the popular dating drama The Bachelorette, starring blonde cutie Ali Fedotowsky aired Monday from 8:00 until 10:00 on ABC. Last week, it came as little surprise when Ali sent home Kasey (crazy stalker ) and Chris N. (really no chemistry there). This week Ali and the remaining seven guys head to Istanbul, Turkey where a bachelorette scandal erupts.

The Rated R Scandal Hits

Five minutes into episode 6 of The Bachelorette, has host Chris Harrison knocking on Ali's hotel room door to announce that he was contacted by Jessie from Season 14 of The Bachelor. Chris gets Jesse on the phone with Ali. Jesse tells Ali that one of the guys has a girlfriend and that it is Justin. She then tells Ali that she has Justin's girlfriend Jessica on the other line. Ali then has the chance to talk to a tearful Jessica, who relates her romantic tragedy to the dumbfounded bachelorette. Too bad that a plethora of spoilers had announced the details of the scandal months ago; this could have been a dramatic shocker for the Bachelorette.

The Bachelorette Berates the Cowardly Wrestler

Ali calls Justin out in front of the other guys. "Sit down and talk like a man" Ali yells at him as he leaves the room, speechless for the first time on season 6 of The Bachelorette. It is not over yet, an angry Ali chases after the fleeing wrestler who leaves the hotel with little more than his passport. While the spoilers told us to expect the Justin girlfriend Bachelorette scandal, they did not prepare us for his utter cowardice. It was hilarious to watch the cocky entertainment wrestler trampling through bushes in order to avoid a confrontation with the petite bachelorette.

Justin Crawls Back with His Tail between His Legs

While Ali sits with Chris Harrison, Justin slinks back to tell Ali that shortly after he began his Bachelorette adventure, he realized that his heart just was not in it. He even offered to give Ali back the rose she gave him last week in Iceland. Ali doesn't want the rose, nor does she want the cocky wrestler. Ali tells Justin "it is unspeakable what he has done". With Ali yelling at him to "just be a man", Justin walks off the show. Thus ends the first Bachelorette scandal in a season where we are told to expect several juicy scandals.

Ty Gets Steamy with the Bachelorette

Ali and Ty head to a Turkish bath for some steamy good times. I will admit that I am not a big fan of the Bachelorette contestant from Tennessee. He and Ali do seem to have some chemistry together and things certainly get steamy in the Istanbul bathhouse. Ali and Ty then enjoy a romantic outdoor dinner. Ty reveals the details of his prior marriage and divorce and it is not long before Ali hands him a rose. The date ends with some dancing and Ali announcing to the camera, that she may know more about Ty than any other guy in the house.

Chris L, Roberto, Kirk and Craig Wrestle for the Bachelorette

Chris, Roberto, Kirk and Craig get the group date with Ali, which means that Frank gets the remaining one on one date. You have to feel a little sorry for Craig, who is the only remaining contestant who has not had a one on one date with the bachelorette. Frank will have his second one on one with Ali this week. Ali has the four guys oil up to fight for some coveted one on one time with the bachelorette. Craig shows his determination to win Ali's heart by defeating the much more muscular Kirk and Roberto. The lawyer from Phili wins the olive oil wrestling match and special one on one time with the bachelorette.

Craig and Ali Take a Mediterranean Boat Ride

I really like Craig. He is funny, sincere and cute. The two shared some hugs while watching some fireworks over the Med, but unlike many of the other dates, there were no fireworks between the bachelorette and the attorney from Phili.

Will Frank be the One to Break Ali's Heart?

Frank had the very first one on one date with the bachelorette, but since then their times together have been a little shaky. Will their second date solidify their fledgling relationship? The date begins with some browsing at a Turkish bazaar and ends with a rose. In between, Ali questions whether Frank could break her heart.

The Rose Ceremony

In an unprecedented move, Ali cancels the pre rose ceremony cocktail party. Ali tells Chris that she believes that she has made a connection with all but one of the remaining six guys. It comes as no surprise when Craig is the one left without a rose.

Next Week on The Bachelorette
Ali and the five remaining guys head to Lisbon Portugal on week seven of the Bachelorette. It looks like it won't be long before another Bachelorette scandal erupts. This one will leave Ali in tears.
