Full Recap: The Bachelorette 2010 - June 7

The two-hour episode of ABC's The Bachelorette (June 7) began with Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto going on an exciting one-on-one date which had them sky-walking on tight ropes across two building. Ali Fedotowsky said she wanted a man to make her feel safe, and this season's Bachelorette just may have found that quality in Roberto. As Ali and Roberto made their way, side by side, across the tight-ropes to their roof-top dinner date, Roberto paused in the middle to give Ali a sexy mid-air kiss that helped earn him the first "safety" rose of the week. For The Bachelorette (June 7) viewers, the mere fact that both Bachelorette Ali and Roberto managed to stay somewhat stable and not plummet to the limits of their safety gear was nothing short of impressive.

This week's group date was next. During this episode of The Bachelorette (June 7), Ali Fedotowsky chose a group of guys to make a music video with her for the afternoon, and concluded the date by watching the debut in the pool that night. For the video, Ali and the guys acted scenes to accompany a new tune called "You Run Away", by the group Bare Naked Ladies. In one scene, weatherman Jonathan had a scripted kiss with Ali, and he had quite a hard time with it. This amused the other guys to no end, and they heckled him through most of his failed takes. Finally, Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky put an end to the high school hijinks when she planted a smooch square on Jonathan's lips and closed the scene.

During shooting of the Bachelorette-meets-Bare Naked Ladies music video for this week's Bachelorette episode June 7, suitor Kirk also got to make out with Ali Fedotowsky. Whereas weatherman Jonathan was reduced to tears (not kidding) over his similar kissing scene with Ali, Kirk seemed to thoroughly enjoy the, ahem, face-time. The pair kept right on kissing even after the Director yelled "Cut!", which started to peeve some of the other guys.
Later, Kirk got another kiss from Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky when he engaged her for some one-on-one time in the hot-tub. He said he needed to make sure what they shared earlier was "real", and it appears it was real enough for Ali to enjoy a kiss without a director, producer and camera crew. (Oh, wait...shit. Nevermind.)

Internet accounts executive, Hunter, who was given the only other individual date besides Roberto's sky-high encounter (kind of hard to beat) sadly didn't impress Ali nearly as much as Roberto or Kirk, because she didn't give him a rose at the conclusion of their casual date of dinner and relaxing at her home. There was no magic at work between the two, at least not from Ali's side, and she sent Hunter, 28, home.

The real Bachelorette (June 7) "drama" that comes into play this week centers around Justin, the 26 year-old wrestler from Toronto. This Bachelorette suitor actually walked, on crutches, reportedly "a few miles" up the road, from the men's house to the Bachelorette mansion where Ali Fedotowsky lived. Lucky for Justin, Ali seemed to interpret the act as more sweet than stalker, and let him in to steal the one-on-one time he hobbled all that way for. (Psst...The other guys have no idea Justin has done this.)

Later, when it is revealed that Justin did in fact make the trek to Ali's for some alone time, the guys confront Justin and question whether or not Hunter's mojo or time spent with Ali could have been compromised by Justin's "unfair" action. Justin, 26, made little apology, saying he was in this for Ali, and he decided to make a grand gesture to win her heart. Throughout the Bachelorette June 7 episode, the guys, especially Ty, question Justin's motives.

During the June 7 Bachelorette rose ceremony, Ali Fedotowsky made her choice by letting Justin stay and instead sending home two other hopefuls. Ali said "goodbye" to Steve, a 28 year-old sales rep., and John, a 32 -year-old bachelor from Washington. With the departure of Hunter, this makes three guys gone tonight. Only 11 more to go! Stay tuned...
