'The Bachelorette' 2010 Season 6 Spoilers- Episode 3: Love is a Balancing Act for Ali

Who Did Ali Send Home on Week 3 of 'The Bachelorette'?

Victoria Leigh Miller
This week on ABC's The Bachelorette Season 6, Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky went on a couple of solo dates as well as a group date to a music video shoot. And one bachelor snuck in some secret alone time with the Bachelorette. But by the end of the episode, Ali's 14 suitors were cut down to 11. So who went home on Week 3 of The Bachelorette 2010?

Ali's One on one date with her Latin Lovah

Ali's first one on one date this week is with the sizzling Latino boy, Roberto. Ali seems to think he's hot hot hot! The date started with a helicopter pick up. Ali- who is afraid of flying- is petrified. But don't worry, Roberto comforts her, earning beaucoup points.

Their date turns out to be dinner on a roof top-100 feet away on the top of another building. So yes, they have to walk across a tightrope to get to their dinner. Is this The Bachelorette or Survivor?

As they begin their scary, 100 foot trek, Ali coyly asks Roberto, "Are you ready to fall for me?"

It's actually nerve wracking watching them get across the ropes. But midway through their walk, Roberto shakily grabs Ali's hands and they kiss. It's a long kiss on a skinny rope and it is strangely reminiscent of Bachelor Jake Pavelka's fist kiss with Vienna on their bungee jumping date last season. Let's just say, after this date Roberto is golden.

Next up we see the guys back at the mansion when they get the Group Date card. Kirk, John, Chris N., Frank, Jonathan, Craig, Justin, Jesse and Chris L. are all picked to go.

Mumbles McGee (aka Kasey) laments how he isn't going on the group date and how he'd like to sing Ali a song from his heart.

Next it's back to Ali and Roberto's rooftop dinner. Ali is impressed that Roberto is bilingual. English is his second language-- he's fluent in Spanish and also knows some French and Italian. Ali likes that he's a cultured guy and she thinks he's sooooo good looking. She even wonders aloud if she's pretty enough for him!

They settle in for some cuddle time (a favorite pastime of Ali's, apparently) and she giddily leaps up and gives Roberto a rose. He is safe!

Barenaked Group Date

The next day it's the group date to a Barenaked Ladies music video shoot. The guys are all excited to be in the video for the song "You Run Away". After they all study their scenes, Weatherman Jonathan gets cold feet about his kissing scene with Ali.

Frank is first when it's time to start the shoot. He has a beach scene where he oils Ali up with sunscreen and she smacks him across the face-- hard. 9 takes worth. Ouch!

For the next scene, Ali is in a bubble bath, until John gets in and then she leaves.

Weatherman is still stressing over his upcoming kissing scene- in fact he's shaking! When it's time to film the scene he just can't do it. It's an awkward moment as all the other guys are watching and making fun. Weatherman even starts to cry under the pressure! For the final take, Ali pulls him in and plants a big one on him.

Watching as Ali kisses nearly every other guy on the video shoot, Frank- who had a great one on one date with her last week- gets a tad jealous. Mini spoiler: You'll see as the season goes on that he has one heck of a nerve to get jealous about anything.

When Ali films a bedroom makeout scene with Kirk, the kissing gets hot and heavy. So hot that the other guys can't bear to watch it and one by one they file out of the room. And when the director yells "Cut!" Ali and Kirk don't stop kissing.

Later, Ali and the guys relax over some beers. She grabs Chris L. for a chat and finds out that his mom passed away and he has a tattoo of her signature. Very touching and you can see a glimmer in Ali's eye when she talks to him.

Then, Weatherman cuts in with a special report. He wants to explain his junior high nervousness over their kissing scene at the video shoot. Ali brushes it off (she clearly forgot about it hours ago and has moved on to better things), and just as Weatherman leans in for the kill (as in a real, non-video kiss) Craig butts in. Another missed opportunity for Jonathan!

Kirk gets some alone time in the hot tub with Ali- and some more steamy kissing. As the other guys watch from afar, Frank seems especially annoyed. He and several of the other guys jump in to interrupt. But Ali still gives Sugar Lips Kirk the group date rose.

A Secret Rendezvous?

This is the week that "Rated R" Justin starts his trouble. Determined to get some alone time with Ali (or at least some more face time on camera) the entertainment wrestler sneaks over to her place before her second one on one date, which happens to be with Hunter.

But Justin is on crutches, so he actually hobbles the several miles to Ali's place. She is shocked to see him, but he tells her he is there 100% for her. He also opens up to her about his family, his deadbeat dad, etc. Ali enjoys the alone time with Justin and drives him back to the mansion right before her date with Hunter.

The Heart is a Lonely Hunter

Next up, Ali's one on one date with Hunter. Hunter has a feeling he'll be going to Ali's house and he relishes the fact that he'll be the first guy to spend time at her place. Justin- who has just returned from Ali's place- just laughs and plays along.

Sure enough, Ali takes Hunter to her house for a backyard BBQ. But after dinner, in the hot tub, it's obvious she has zero chemistry with him (she even moves away from him!). It's no surprise when she doesn't give him a rose, citing that she doesn't feel any romantic connection. She sends Hunter home in a cab.

Meanwhile, back at the manch, Justin is finding that the other guys hate him when he stumbles upon them all talking about him. He even gets a bit emotional and cries (but hey, aren't entertainment wrestlers actors?). When the guys find out Justin went to see Ali at her house, they are furious. Ty calls Justin two-faced. Kasey says something undecipherable. Could they just put up subtitles when he talks, please?

The Rose Ceremony

With Hunter gone, Ali will have 9 roses to give out and 2 more guys will also go.

Steve attempts a last ditch effort to impress Ali with a picnic blanket, candles, and a bottle of champagne (which takes him forever to open). Meanwhile, pan to Justin who is outside weeping.

Next, host Chris Harrison shows up to tell Ali it's time. Roberto and Kirk already have their roses from their dates, so Ali begins her pecking order.

She deems Chris L. safe first. Then it's Jesse, Chris N., Ty, Kasey, Craig, Frank, and Jonathan.

With her final rose of the night, Ali chooses Justin. So it's Steve and John who go home.

So here are the men's standings as of week 3:

Chris L.- age 33- landscaper , Cape Cod, MA- ROSE

I am being to wonder about this show! 56 mins into last nights show the cast on Justin's foot changed from left foot to the right foot! Just as Justin is getting ready to round the corner to where Ali is! What a crock! Is Justin faking it or is the show making stuff up!

Very well done! I'm not a fan but thanks for the great update.

I agree, why waste your time watching this crap when all you have to do is look up the recap on the internet. It saves so much time and you don't have to watch these false people acting like they are in love, etc, etc, etc

I think it is so unatractive when men act like a bunch of old ladies. Isn't Ali supposed to be picking the man she want's? Personaly I think they're all jelous of Justin. He's a threat so they want him out or it's just a bunch of crap to add drama to the show.

I don't watch the bachelorette and only read the recaps and spoilers. It saves so much time and eleminates all the making out which is meaningless. Then I may watch the last few episodes. In the past I have not liked any of the players after seeing all the garbage the show has. It is somewhat contrived as well.

    Interesting and well written!
