'The Bachelorette' 2010 Season 6 Spoilers: What Happened to Reality Steve?

Fans of ABC's The Bachelor and The Bachelorette franchise were no doubt tuned into E's The Bachelor: Then and Now special last week. The show detailed a look back at the first 20 seasons of the popular reality show and also gave a sneak peek into this summer's raunchy spinoff, Bachelor Pad.

Blogger "Reality Steve" Carbone, who has blogged this season's Bachelorette Season 6 to a tee, was one of several people interviewed for the show and he provided funny and insightful commentary as only Reality Steve can do.

BUT.

If you happened to catch the rerun of the show, something is missing. As in, Reality Steve.

Seems that in subsequent airings of the show, every trace of Reality Steve has been obliterated. And he's been replaced by "TV Diva Gal" -Delaina Dixon - who basically says everything he said in the original broadcast. Someone at E put in some extra hours in the editing room.

I admit I thought it was odd seeing Reality Steve, Bachelor host Chris Harrison and Bachelor producer Mike Fleiss all on the same show. Harrison, Fleiss and ABC aren't exactly Reality Steve fans, as he's leaked the last several seasons of their show- sometimes spilling the beans on the finale before the first episode even airs.

On Twitter, Reality Steve Carbone posted, "Really? Removing all my clips from the E! special & replacing them w some1 else? Now that's funny. Guess I'll just keep ruining their show."

Reality Steve also tweeted, "ABC obviously told them to take me off. Don't know why, but they did. They don't want me associated w their franchise".

Not that anyone could blame them. While fans love Reality Steve's hilarious Bachelor and Bachelorette spoilers and recaps, ABC clearly doesn't. In seasons past they've cast a blind eye but this season they seem to be cracking down.

Case in point? Reality Steve's Bachelorette 6 finale prediction contradicts the finale spoilers of several gossip sites and magazine tabloids. So who is feeding who the Bachelorette spoiler information?

Reality Steve Carbone has predicted everything on Ali Fedotowsky's Bachelorette season exactly as it happens, so clearly his sources are giving him correct information, at least up to this point. I'd be surprised if his finale prediction isn't correct (I won't post his finale spoilers here, but you can read about it here if you can't wait until Monday night's Bachelorette finale).

UPDATE: Just hours before The Bachelorette finale is set to air, Reality Steve has changed his outcome prediction.

And by the way E, Carbone delivered his commentary on The Bachelor: Then and Now better than TV Diva Gal did. Glad I DVR'd the original broadcast.
