Frank Visits His Ex-girlfriend Nicole in Chicago
The show begins with the camera following the season's most neurotic contestant, Frank, as he heads through the streets of Chicago ending up at the doorsteps of his ex girlfriend Nicole. Frank explains to Nicole that he is falling for Ali, but keeps thinking about her and needs to find out if there is something still between the two of them. Nicole then tells Frank (not altogether convincingly) "without him she is incomplete". The two hug and whisper a few tender entreaties to each other. Frank then announces that he is in love with Nicole and must now go to Tahiti to break the news to Ali. How does the bachelorette respond to Frank's revelation? Well, before we find out we must wade through her dates with Chris and Roberto.
Ali and Roberto Have a "Hot" Overnighter in Tahiti
Roberto has the first overnight date with the bachelorette. The two begin their date with yet another helicopter ride. The scenery is breathtaking, but the chemistry between Ali and Roberto seems to be fizzling out. Both say the right things about each other and they share plenty of kisses and hugs, but there still seems to be a lack of that "special something" between the attractive couple.
Their next stop is an incredible, uninhabited island in the middle of a heart shaped lagoon. Ali comments that the "physical chemistry" between her and Roberto is intense; perhaps the bachelorette and the baseball player lack an emotional connection. Nevertheless, after enjoying an intimate dinner, Ali offers Roberto the key to the "fantasy suite". Is the baseball player in love with the bachelorette? He says he is falling in love with her, but I am not so sure.
Will Ali Break the Heart of the Bachelorette's Nicest Contestant?
Chris received the second date with the bachelorette. The date began with a boat ride around the Tahitian Islands. The perfect date for this laid back contender (who is my pick to be the next Bachelor). The two then jump off the boat and swim to their next island destination. Chris and Ali look like they enjoy each other's company. Chris's affection for Ali seems sincere (more sincere than the other two Bachelorette finalists).
According to the many Bachelorette spoilers, Chris ultimately fails to win the bachelorette's heart. Ali does offer Chris the keys to the "fantasy suite". Chris tells the camera that "he loves this girl" and either he is a damn fine actor or he is really in love (or at least thinks he is really in love) with Ali. Ali does let loose one clue as to why she may not ultimately choose Chris as her "true love" when she says that when she left Massachusetts she never intended to live there again. Chris is a New Englander, with strong ties to his family; geography may not be in his favor.
How Does Ali React to Frank's News?
How does Ali react when Frank tells her that he is still in love with his ex-girlfriend? Before he breaks the news to Ali, Frank sits down with Bachelorette host, Chris Harrison for some advice. Chris begins by asking Frank how he left things with Nicole. Frank tells Chris that he told Nicole that he is in love with her. Chris tells him that he is just blown away.
While walking over to meet frank for their date, Ali tells the camera that she has been looking forward to her date with Frank the most. Frank greets Ali at the door with a big hug and some even bigger news. Ali remains quiet throughout Frank's speech about the special connection he has with Nicole and not with her. You can't help but feel bad for the bachelorette as she sits teary faced and almost speechless. Ali needs to remember one thing. While rejection is hard, rejection on national television can be good for a girl's career (ie. former Bachelor contestant Melissa Rycroft).
The Bachelorette Finale
Frank's departure means that there is no need for a rose ceremony, but Ali chooses to have one anyways. Ali hands out the two roses first to Chris and then to Roberto. Roberto and Chris will be Ali's final two. Will Ali recover from her heartbreak over Frank's depature in order to fall in love with one of the two remaining guys? Bachelorette spoilers say that Ali remains alone.

Post a CommentHmmm...if she rejects Chris, I smell the next bachelor in the Tahiti air...
I haven't been watching the show, but I love Tahiti, so perhaps I should check it out.
Ok Tammy Brown calm down. You are acting rather sexist for a female. She is no more a tramp than if the "Bachelor" was sleeping with other women. Perhaps you are right that this show is not the one for you. In any case, you are entitled to your opinion. Also since you say this is your first time watching the show, you may not be aware that this happens on all of the shows when there is a bachelor with many women as well. It is with the final three not all of the men or women.
This is my first time following The Bachelorette. I didn't realize that she sleeps with everyone before making a decision. This really cheapens the whole thing, kind of makes here look like a tramp. Does American really like to see one woman sleep with multiple men at one time? I won't watch it again.
Ya think Frank is the next Bachelor? LOL cheers :)
Ali is not the smartest crayon in the box.. she said "Honesty and Intregrity" are to VERBS that describe the man she wants to spend her life with ..."Honesty and Intregrity" are not VERBS
