The "Bachelorette" Ashley Hebert Needs Some Back Bone

Roz Zurko
Ashley Hebert lost all control on the "Bachelorette" last night, she needs to develop a backbone before she gets run over by the new men in her life. Ashley's laugh was her only defense, which grew old quickly.

This sweet and na¯ve "Bachelorette" did not put her foot down while picked up like a sack of potatoes twice before the men even stepped foot in the house. The more awkward the situation, the harder she would laugh. By the end of the episode Ashley's laugh started to sound like a cackle.

The men pulled Ashley's attention away from one another and Ashley did not stand her ground. What ever came her way, she followed. This "Bachelorette" needs to become a leader in this household and take control to guard against manipulation and control by some of the wolves in the house.

If the first episode of this season's "Bachelorette" is any indication, Ashley is easy prey to control for the strong personalities that arrived at this house last night. She also needs to curb the laugh and start using some words to direct the situation, like don't pick me up, don't put your hands on me and "I am busy now" when the men demand her time.
