The Bachelor's Ali Fedotowsky Defends Vienna Girardi?

Although The Bachelor's Ali Fedotowsky spent the season at odds with Vienna Girardi, Ali seems to be defending her these days.

Ali suggested that Vienna was young and that she probably just had a tendency to speak before thinking. She also expressed sympathy that Vienna was being raked over the coals by the media.

As she told Entertainment Tonight, "I have said this before, but my heart goes out to Vienna, because she is being slammed in the media. I don't think she deserves it. I do think she is a decent person. I just think she is a little bit young and her life experience hasn't taught her she shouldn't be saying these things."

With her 'trailer trash' father, fake boobs, and ruthless attitude towards the other women in the house, Vienna Girardi is one of the most controversial contestants in this history of the Bachelor franchise.

While she and Bachelor Jake Pavelka come across as polar opposites, he perhaps likes the fact that he can be more of a 'bad boy' with her. In the last episode, he talked about how they can 'mature together.'

Jake Pavelka is likely to choose Vienna over Tenley Molzahn, while Ali Fedotowsky (after that glaringly staged phone call with Jake) seems in prime position to be the next Bachelorette.

The whole nature of Ali's departure was suspicious to begin with. After leaving The Bachelor for work, she's all of a sudden willing to throw her career down the tubes for a guy she met on a reality show. Then to top it off, she's now willing or able to leave her job for several months to star in a Bachelor spin-off?

Of course, ABC must have offered her incentive to be the next Bachelorette. After all, Tenley Molzahn, who continually speaks of how she had never been with any other man besides her ex, would not provide entertaining television for the scandal-hungry Bachelor fans.

Yeah Tenley and Corrie (a virgin) just don't make for interesting enough spins for our media - or viewers, unfortunately.
