The Bachelor's Jake and Vienna have split. The two portrayed a happy couple and were even talking about wedding plans for this summer. Something happened and the two have parted ways, according to RadarOnline

Jake and Vienna make the 13th failed couple spawned from the Bachelor, but for a while there, it looked as if they might make it.

Being the unlucky 13th couple was not the only thing stacked against this couple from the beginning. Vienna was the most despised in the Bachelor house by the other contestants and it was a very close call on who Jake was going to give that final rose to. It was a surprise for many that Vienna was chosen after all the talk about an ex-boyfriend she might have been still living with at the time. All kinds of pictures of Vienna surfaced in wild partying poses, which was the opposite of what Jake reported he wanted in a girl.

Jake was found out to be somewhat of a reality TV junkie and the Bachelor was not his first or last reality show appearance. He is a commercial pilot, but he also wanted a start on the screen. His ex-fiance got a call from him the day after the rose announcement hit the TV and he told her he still loved her. He said he didn't care about the girls on the show, including Vienna, because he was just on the Bachelor as a way to conjure up some fame for himself, this is what his ex accused him of saying. He wanted a career in the entertainment industry. Vienna said Jake's ex's claims were a lie.

How can a couple fall in love on live TV with the camera's watching your every move. How can you find "love" when you are with a new girl every night in that house and then eliminate them like dogs in a dog show. It makes for great TV, for some anyway, but it sure is not the way to start a romance.

The Bachelor's Jake and Vienna are over and the two will be going their separate ways. They have asked for privacy during this trying time, as if they were European Royalty. This just gives you one more example of how the reality show's 15 minutes of fame goes to the head of many of the contestants.
