Toot Toot! Goes the Lucky Train!

The Set up

You are the mayor of your own county that has recently received a stop on the cross-country rail system. Your job is to create new routes to new counties and increase your profits.

The Players

Each of your friends has their own counties and you must get them to accept your trains at their stops. You must also get them to stop their trains in your county so that you can raise money off of their hard work. You can have up to 20 stops per train and each stop adds to the time it takes for the trains to return to you.

The Game

The game starts out simple, you, a station, and a couple of small cottages. It quickly evolves into a race to keep your station full and fill the trains that bombard your station every few hours. The station is not very big and only holds about 25 - 30 passengers at a time so you will run out very quickly if you do not budget the buildings properly. Quick buildings are needed, though the passengers do not pay much to ride, and must be balanced with the slower building, who pay much more.

Upgrades!

Each building can be upgraded twice. The first two buildings (cottage and house) upgrade to higher paying passengers. The rest just upgrade on their capacities. It is important to get some apartment buildings out quick as they can store 6 people at level 3. Although they only pay 3 coins to ride they fill quickly and will save you from waiting forever.

TRAINS!

There are several trains to buy for coins. The XL version of each train either makes it faster, increases capacity, or both. There are also trains available for the in-game cash as well. These cash trains are very nice and further upgrade each class. The 2 best trains are only available for in-game cash, but for once they are worth purchasing.

Summation

The game is kind of cartoonish, but interesting in its concept. You have some nice choices you can make and buildings to upgrade. This game is quickly addicting and will keep you interested for a long time. There is even an ADD ME page which people actually use. I boosted my trains at a rate of 7 friend requests per day simply using the ADD ME page. The music is typical for a Facebook game and will annoy you eventually. There is an option to turn it off which is always a blessing. Over all I would say grab your engineer cap and come aboard! Lucky train is powering towards you and you won't be able to get off the tracks before it runs you down.
