This game has great graphics and with that keeps up the reputation of all Tron games. Over the years we have come to expect cutting edge graphics from our games. This title does not disappoint.
Sound
The sound is not as great as the graphics. Tron games have never had the greatest music anyways. If we think back to the previous titles (Tron, Tron 2.0) the music was pretty bad really. This game has great voices but the music is pretty bad.
Controls
The camera is very loose to start with. A simple controls adjustment fixes it somewhat, but it is always very loose. Perhaps as the game goes on it will be necessary to have such an easily adjustable camera angle. There is a LOT to keep up with in this game and the controls are extensive. Wall climbs, wall runs, jumps, turbo jumps, vaults, and 2 kinds of attacks, just to name a few. Each control has a different combo of keys to remember. As time goes on you get used to these controls, but at the beginning it is very confusing.
Story
Well I have not gone very far into this game yet, but the story is nothing like the movie. I recently saw the movie and the story on here is delightfully diverse. You have to chase down a female program that is trying to get in to see the head isomorph but is denied access by the guards. After seeing the movie I believe this is the pre-story to the movie. If I am right the storyline is going to take us through the "purge." Fans of Tron beware: if you have not seen the movie, wait to play the game!
Conclusion
This game is awesome over all! Tron fans need to play this game! This is definitely a game worth buying this year. I would be surprised if this game doesn't win any awards in the VGA this year. Also this game is ripe for online content updates. Not just patches but entire new stories and expansions.
