You raise your hand
And cast the spell
I sit entranced
Your fist, it fell
And struck the blow
Across my head
What was it then
That I had said?
Or was it something
I had done
To make you hate
Who lost? Who won?
We seem so lost
By night, by day
I'm living life
In black decay
These eggshells that
I walk upon
Are getting old
My days are long
It's quiet now
The battle done
I ask again
Who lost, who won?
