When new terms are heard or found or coined, they are added to the Beanie Lingo Dictionary. One funny term coined by a Ty Cyberboard participant named gibill was the word Stuffies. Stuffies are Beanies who lack the normal filling of PE or PVC pellets and who have lost the unique feeling of being a beanie being more like any stuffed toy found in the market.

Sometimes one term is used within the description of another term in which case the term is linked to it's definition page as well. For an example Ty Calendar and Ty Wallpaper both refer to the same thing. Another example is Heart Tag, Swing Tag and Hang Tag which are also terms that refer to the same thing. A Locket is however a different item.
