The Beatles Sell Out!

In 1964 Beatlemania struck the United States. Now it's 45 years later and it's still going strong as shown by the fact that both of the Beatles new box sets have sold out on Amazon before they even officially go on sale (on 9/9/9.) And of course The Beatles Rock Band is definitely the most anticipated video game of the year.

The Beatles Stereo Box Set

This 16 disc box set includes remastered stereo versions of every song The Beatles released from 1962 through 1970! Because of the advanced technology used (in comparison with the old Beatles CDs which were mastered way back in 1987) these new Beatles CDs sound far superior to the old ones.

All 13 albums (and the Past Masters double disc non album songs compilation) in this box set can also be purchased individually. Personally I'm a huge Beatles fan so I want every single album but I do understand that some people are partial to only "early Beatles" or "later Beatles" and may only want to buy specific albums.

The Beatles Mono Box Set

This 13 disc set includes remastered mono versions of every song that The Beatles originally mixed in mono (that's all of their songs through 1968 or all of the songs except for those included on Let It Be & Abbey Road.)

Unlike with the stereo set, this CDs in The Beatles Mono Box Set are only available as a part of the box set and not for individual purchase. What this means is that if you only want to buy the mono mix of Revolver (for example) then you are out of luck!

Where Can I Buy Them?

With these box sets sold out on Amazon many Beatles fans are looking around for anywhere else they may be able to buy these box sets. As of the writing of this article both of the Beatles box sets are available at a store called Collectors Choice Music. They may sell out there soon, so if it's a good idea to move quickly if you want to purchase them.

The Beatles Rock Band

While The Beatles Rock Band has been a huge seller too, it doesn't appear to be having problems with getting sold out (at least not yet, to my knowledge.)

This game takes the already very fun Rock Band gaming experience to the next level by including The Beatles awesome songs and with the very cool new harmony singing feature which lets up to three people sing at once.

The Beatles Box Sets In Remastered Vinyl?

There are rumors that the next release after 9/9/9 will be vinyl LP versions of the mono & stereo box sets. These are just rumors as of right now so don't get your hopes up too high. But it does make sense that they would go this route as I'm positive there is a significant market for Beatles vinyl.
