Their innovative idea to place all forms of cardiac specialists in one location may not be all new, but with their available technologies of 3-D echocardiography imaging equipment, video consultations and six multidisciplinary clinics, it is going to be a new innovation in how we treat heart patients in the future. The six clinics will feature atrial fibrillation clinics, heart valve disease clinics, cardiovascular screening clinics, heart failure clinics and advanced coronary artery disease clinics. The cardiovascular center is set to open in 2011, so stay tuned for more news on this amazing addition to the Beaumont Hospital.
