The date was August 13 of this year at 1:24 p.m to be exact. Feeling the need to just be still, with some calm and relaxing music, I am enjoying the day.
Looking out my window there is an abundance of fluffy clouds that look like cotton balls gracing the beautiful skies. I want to just reach out and touch them. I can't help but be in a thankful and meditative mood even in the midst of some challenges on my current journey in life.
The grass is somewhat greener now after having recently surrendered to the ravages of near drought-like conditions for the past several months. Hope is alive and well all around me.
The temperature has settled down somewhat to a more comfortable feel. Our pocketbooks appreciate that.
I am intrigued by those clouds, but more intrigued by the one who made them. How marvelous God is. It is a privilege to be able to look upon His awesome creation and just simply marvel at the complexity of it all. It has a way of giving hope and encouragement.
Do you ever wonder what is going on in the heavenly realm? There are so many people that I long to see but none more than Jesus my Savior. My heart aches in eternal gratefulness for what He has done and continues to do in my life on a daily basis.
Yes, life is sometimes hard. But I'm so glad that I can get a reprieve from my problems through the beauty of nature. By basking in His creation I get a boost of hope, joy, strength and encouragement.
If you're going through some difficulties, let me encourage you to look up to where strength and hope is found.

We were at my sons baseball game this weekend, the breeze was blowing across our faces and was just delightful what God had done for us!
So true. I feel so thankful when I go outside and appreciate all the beauty of nature.
Wonderful Lee, it is so wonderful to open your e-mail and respond to the beautiful articles. God beautiful creation gives us so much to write about. And so many times, we may think we are just writing an article that was in our heart, but it is a word of life for some one else. Lee, your articles, are life!
We rode out the storm and the cleanup has begun. Trees down everywhere - so sad to think they stood all of these years and the fury of Irene brought them tumbling down. I needed to read this today, Lee, the sun is shining in the aftermath. cheers
