Small dogs cannot climb on couch, bed or other furniture thus making us safer with fewer allergens while using the said things.
Small dogs want to have their own place. This means that they will prefer staying or sleeping on a dog bed or crate. This attitude will prevent them from destroying anything in your home.
This will also prevent them from spreading allergens on carpets and walls.
Small dogs have shorter hair and this will eliminate allergy attacks with the owner since you will be able to breathe well. The hair does not shed as often like other breeds. They just need to be groomed frequently.
Small dogs do not produce lots of saliva. This is a good point since the bacteria found in saliva can also cause people to have allergy attacks.

Small dogs love to stay with their owners. They prefer a close relationship with their owners. They always want to have someone around. They would enjoy a one on one time with their owners. It is just like spending quality time with a friend.
Small dogs do not require so much exercise. They do not need to have a long walk or run. It is enough for them to have a short walk to the park or place where they can play. Small dogs enjoy playing games either indoor or outdoor.
Small dogs should not be left for too long outside in a cold weather. Their coats might not be able to sustain the coldness.
Small dogs do not bark too much.
It is better to make a research or seek for advice before deciding what breed of small dog to buy. Choose a breed that will fit your lifestyle. This will enable you to establish easily a trusting relationship with your dog which is very necessary. If you believe you cannot place trust to this type of breed then move to another breed until you come up with a breed that you feel comfortable with.
Small dogs are good companions for those with allergies and also for those who don't have allergies. Choosing a dog is a responsibility, therefore if you already picked a small dog for a pet make sure to have enough knowledge on how to train and discipline your dog. Give your dog the right treatment in order for them to give back acceptable character. Dogs are intelligent and they will surely respond depending on how they are being treated.
