The hotel rooms are superb, but you will pay a pretty penny for them. But in Vegas, you get what you pay for. The casino floor is really huge, and you can find every slot imaginable you may want to play. There is also a large section for plenty of table games you may want to try out. The poker room is large and you may even find some local professionals there from time to time as this is a quite popular place. The Bellagio also is host to several big poker tournaments throughout the year.
If you like to gamble, then I would recommend signing up for the players club. It is free to join, and you can accumulate points and comp dollars for various things. It also works for other casinos too because The Bellagio is owned by MGM. I do have their card, but I find that unless you play a lot, it will take you awhile to get anything. I think you earn a lot more points if you play table games rather than slots.
Another must see attraction at The Bellagio would be to see the fountain show located outside in front of the hotel. It is a free attraction that flocks hundreds of people to see every day. They set up their fountains to run to music and lights, it's an incredible site to see. They change the show every time it runs so you always will get a different show. It typically runs every 30 minutes during the day and more frequent in the evening. Be sure to bring your camera as this is one thing you will not want to miss.
Overall, if you are planning to visit Las Vegas, you must make a trip to The Bellagio. You won't want to miss its beauty and it's fountains in which it is known for. They also have several high end shops to browse if you feel like shopping!
