The Benefit of Veterans

How Much Will You Make?

Randy Jones
Well this is probably the most sensitive editorial I could write. This country is very sensitive to the hardships of others and misfortune of many. Right now something that has just pissed me to no end. The act of betrayal from a charity that deceives the American public into giving monetary donations intended for non-profit helpful will and lining a persons pockets for their own personal gain.

Watching the evening news it hurt to see that an organization which has been around since 2003 as far as I know take money intended for the men and woman who have been injured serving our country and putting it into their pockets. I have watched as American Solders have came from Iraq with missing limbs and mental damage have been used for financial gain of others and frankly it makes me sick to my self to know that people represent themselves as non-profit but yet some CE O's have made as much as 800.000 a year (Mr. Chafin) and the solders have not received a dime.

In what world do they think they are even morally or ethically justified by doing this act of deception not only to our solders but as well to the American public.
This is just another stitch pulled out of the confidence that holds us as a society together. We all give from a good heart for the sake of helping those in need
when they need us and with the things going on with some of these not so non-profit charities it will soon lead to the down fall of Americans helping or giving to those in need within our own country.

I could never understand the fact that if an organization is non profit than why do they need to pay a CEO a yearly salary and then claim the reason they could not pay funds out was due to the fact of contributions were not enough for that year. To those who are guilty of such an act of theft in generosity I can only say that I hope the money you receive can buy you a conscience for the injustice you have created toward the ones who depend on the help from others. Hope is all that many people have in charity and to gain a substantial profit from the pain of others is no more that an act of greedy self will which can only be rewarded by a life of distrust in those who give.

To those who give and believe that your donations will help those intended keep it up. If you find that it's not go as high up the legal ladder that you need to go to insure they are brought out in the open and to justice.
