Exercising relieves stress. Exercising can help you to cope with stress better. I know that if I am going through a lot of stress, a night of dancing will usually help me to feel better. It feels like I am shaking the stress away.
Exercising can improve your mood. A lot of people I know always say that they feel so much better after they exercise. Exercising regularly can improve your mood and make you feel happier.
Exercising can help you to look better. Not only can exercise help you look better, but it can also increase your self confidence and self esteem.
Exercising can help with depression. When I went through a bout of depression, my doctor recommended that I start exercising because he said that it could help to lift the depression. Although it is sometimes hard to find the motivation or energy to exercise when someone is depressed, it might help to start out slow until you can find the energy to do more. The more exercising you do, the more energy you will have. More energy can give you more motivation too.
Exercising in a gym or health center may help you to make new friends. If you would like to get out and meet new people, you may be able to find someone at your local gym. You might even make an exercise partner and you can motivate each other to keep exercising.
Exercising can increase your energy level. If your energy levels are higher, you might feel better physically and mentally. You will be able to do more things because you will have the energy to do them. I know that when I am more active, I usually want to stay active for the rest of the day. When I mope around the house or sit in front of the computer, my energy level goes way down.
Exercising can help you sleep better. I know that when I am more active, I sleep better at night. I had started exercising in the morning when my doctor suggested it for my depression. I noticed that by night time, I was able to fall asleep and stay asleep more so than if I just laid around the house all day.
Exercising can help with some body pains and aches. My neighbor had a problem with arthritis in her knee. She said that going up and down steps was sometimes hard. A friend of hers had asked her to walk with her in the mornings for exercise. She started walking with her friend daily and noticed that the pain in her knee subsided. Exercise can help to alleviate some aches and pains in the body.
Exercising can make you more flexible and agile. It is especially good for older people to exercise because as we age, we lose some of our agility. Exercising can help to keep you more limber, it can make your posture better and can help you to feel more flexible.
