Worries Of The benefits of living in the present moment aren't always apparent. It's so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day struggles and worries.

The Future

When you get caught up in the worries of the future and all the depression and anxiety of it, it's easy to get overwhelmed by it all.

Times Of Stress

At these times of stress, it's important to take a deep breath and notice the world around you. When you are living in the present moment, you are concentrated and focused on what exists in your environment at this present time.

Benefits Of Living In The Present Moment

There are many benefits of living in the present moment:

    • Less stress
    • Better health
    • Easier to relax
    • Easier to make a plan
    • Easier to set goals
    • Easier to get goals accomplished
    • Clear focus of your mind

Get More Goals Accomplished

You can see the benefits of living in the present moment in the list above. When you're able to have a clear focus of your mind, you're able to get more goals accomplished in the present moment.

Nothing Was Ever Accomplished By

A good thing to keep in mind is that nothing was ever accomplished by living in the past; and, nothing was ever accomplished by living in the future. Tasks get accomplished when you live in the present moment.

How Do You Use The Present Moment?

You can use the present moment to plan for the future by setting goals that you want to accomplish and, you can use the past by learning from successes and failures. Often times, this will tell you what path of action to take and, what paths of action to avoid.

Plan The Future By Living In The Present Moment

It's easier to plan for the future when you live in the present moment. If you can look at the present moment, you can see where your actions have gotten you. You can take a strategic look at things and decide if this is the direction that you want to continue to take.

    Kurt, I do agree and I like living in the present moment, but on the other hand, I DO sort of have a calendar of assignments up here ahead. Hah, but I know what you're saying.
