So how many blogs do you visit in one day? Lots of people visit blogs and leave comments, but they often wonder why they are not getting any comments back on their own blog. Recently I have noticed that more people are putting direct links into their comments. Doing this has many benefits for those with existing blogs or for those who are just starting out. This helps in many different ways. Below are a few benefits with putting links in your comments. If you have some additional benefits you can list them below in the comments section.
It will increase your blog traffic
If you have your own blog one of the best ways to draw attention to it, is by putting direct links in your comments. Of course you don't want to just leave any type of comment. Make sure that your comment makes a sense and is relevant to the topic. You don't just want to post anything in order to get traffic. People will not visit your blog if it does not make any sense.
Insight into your writing ability
Writing good well informed comments will show your writing ability. It will help to spark other reader's interest in what you have to say. A well written comment can lead to a well written blog. Of course you will not become a professional writer over night. Even if you are new to the world of blogging and not that good yet, direct links can help in another way.
Improve your writing ability
Writing comments on other blogs and forums can only help your writing ability to improve. You can learn how to respond to the comments of others which will prove to be very beneficial on a blog. When people respond to your blog they usually like it when you respond to their comments. If you are used to reading and responding to comments, than you will a pro when it comes time to do so on your blog.
Nothing like a little exposure
When you sign up to post your comments, use your blog name. Most blogs or forums do not require you to put your real name. Instead use the blog name and then put a direct link at the bottom of your comment. This will help you get the exposure that you want for your blog. When others get used to seeing the name of your blog, they may become curious enough to explore it.
