According to the presentation made by BenQ, L300 does not need any installation software, and the 1600 DPI resolution which it can reach, transforms the L300 into an ideal pick for professionals that want the maximum performance from a mouse.
Using the Back and Forward buttons, Internet navigation is made easy, the L300 being one of the best device if you are planing to use it on a professional level.
BenQ said that this product is not only reliable, but at a low price, comparing to what it has to offer, the features included in the device are very new, and offer the best solution when looking for a reliable

The L300, is now available in retail stores across the United States, and Europe, since the release there has been reported a great interest in this device mostly because of the precision it provides, and the fact
that it can function where other devices can not.
In addition the L300 package, contains an USB to PS/2 adapter, so it will be compatible with older computer systems, that do not have an USB port. The mouse will function on Windows 98SE, 2000, Me and Vista, also on MacOS X v10.0. There is no support for Linux or other operating systems for the moment, but the drivers will probably be out in the near future.
