The Best 2007 Holiday Sweepstakes

Who wouldn't like to win some extra Holiday cash, baskets full of goodies, or even a new home just in time for Christmas? I honestly can't think of anyone who wouldn't love winning some great prizes, or better yet, free cash! First thing you must know before entering any sweepstakes is the pro's, and the con's. The pro's are a given, you might be lucky enough to win something, including the grand prize. But, what about the con's? I have entered, researched, and read all the terms of agreements for each of these sites, which I have found to be real sweepstakes. These sites are legitimate, but of course these companies are also promoting themselves, and products.

Before you enter any online sweepstakes, you will need to set of a fake email address. You can use sites like www.yahoo.com which offer free email services, if you do not have any email address openings on your Internet provider account. In doing so you must remember to check back with your new email address ever so often to see if you have a prize notification. I made the mistake of using my personal email address, that I use daily. On average I get anywhere from 10 to 40 emails a day, but after entering these 10 sweepstakes I had over 80 emails, and over 100 emails in my spam folder overnight. Unfortunately, none of them was directions for claiming a prize, but instead they were about new products, special offers, coupons, and such as that. I did get a few free sample offers which was kind of nice, however I really regret not using a fake, or temporary email address.

The rules to all of these sweepstakes are simple. You must be over the age of 18 to enter. You also must live in the United States. Each sweepstakes entry requires your full name, address, phone number that you can be reached at, and email address. Some of these sites allow you to check off whether you want to receive promotions or not, which is nice. According to the rules in the terms of agreements, your chances of winning are the same regardless of whether or not you agree to accept additional product information.
