Americans will soon begin planning festivities to mark our country's birthday and no 4th of July party can begin without the perfect drink. A drink that will cool your guest from the July sun as well as entice their pallets. Historically the fourth of July commemorates the day ( July 4,1776) when the Declaration of Independence was adopted, ultimately declaring our country's independence from Great Britain.

Americans celebrate this time with picnics, parades, fireworks and of course BBQ. No 4th of July party is ever complete without fall of your bones ribs,festive red white and blue decorations ,and of course the perfect drink. One would ask whats the best cocktail for your 4th of July extravaganza that's destine to leave your guest begging for more,try a simple Blue Moon Martini recipe. In keeping with the patriotic customs of red, white and blue, this electric blue show stopper will be the rave of your BBQ or fireworks display. Easily made this cocktail combines :

3 oz Gin

1/2 oz Blue Curacaso

While guest greet and meet you can arrange your red white or blue martini glasses with ice and strain this fire popping liquor into your cocktail glasses. To add a special touch garnish with a lemon twist.This cocktail is sure to please and will leave friends and families wondering who put on a better show,you or the fireworks.This 4th of July be sure to show your American spirit.
