The Best Airport Food at the Pittsbugh International Airport

Pittsburgh International Airport offers many great dining options for travelers. Whether you are looking for a quick bite before your flight or while changing planes or if you have a few hours to relax between flights, there is restaurant for everyone. Most of the restaurants are located near the AirMall that is also home to popular mall stores like Bon Voyage, Brooks Brothers, Crocs, GAP, Godiva Chocolatier, Lids, Nine West and Victoria's Secret.

When you step off the escalator in the airside terminal, you will think that you are in a food court in an upscale shopping mall. This is the perfect place to stop before you head to your gate. You'll recognize many of the national fast food restaurants like McDonald's, Quodoba-Mexican Grill, Quizno's Subs, Sbarro Pizza and Subway. Au Bon Pain serves fresh baked muffins, pastries, donuts, bagels, scones and more and is one of the most popular breakfast stops in the airport. Ben & Jerry's serves the world famous Ben & Jerry's ice cream in cones, cups and smoothies. Charley's Steakery offers made to order Philly style steak and chicken cheesesteaks. Mayorga Coffee Roasters serves fresh brewed coffees, teas, lattes and cappuccinos in fabulous flavors. Upper Crust offers fresh salads, sandwiches and croissants throughout the day.

If you have some time to sit and relax between flights, there are several delicious full services restaurants located in the Pittsburgh International Airport. T.G.I. Friday's has three locations in the airport. The largest restaurant is located near the AirMall and smaller ones are located in Concourse A and Concourse D. T.G.I. Friday's serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sam Adams Brewhouse, located in Concourse B, is a great place to relax and enjoy a sandwich or appetizer and an original Sam Adams brew. If you are looking for some down home Southern cooking in Western Pennsylvania, Fat Tuesday, located in Concourse B, is a fun place to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal. O'Brien's Grill and Pub is located near the AirMall and serves American style breakfast, lunch and dinner with an Irish flair.

The City of Bridges Café in the landside terminal is great place to enjoy a bite to eat while waiting to pick someone up on an arriving flight. The café is located near the security checkpoints and close to the flight information boards.

Pittsburgh International Airport continues to be ranked as one of the best airports in the country for its amenities, restaurants, shopping and passenger services.
