The Motorola Droid Android
We start our quest of finding the best Android phone by sighting our first prey, the Motorola Droid. This smartphone seems to be a good contender. It has a 3.7 inch WVGA screen, 16 GB internal memory expandable to 32 GB with a micro SD chip. It's 385 minutes of talk time is admirable and the 5 MP camera is adequate. Wait, the Arm Cortex A8 550 MHz processor is too slow! Let's move on and look for something faster.
HTC Droid Incredible Android
Another beast is spotted. It is a HTC Droid Incredible. Can this Android live up to its name? It has a fast Qualcomm QSD 8650 1 GH processor and an 8 MP camera which is better than the last one. Oh no, only 8 GB internal storage expandable to 16 GB, 320 minute talk time with the same 3.7 inch screen. Superior, in some ways, than the last one, but we can surely do better. We will need to go further into the jungle.
Google Nexus One Android
A Google Nexus One comes into view. A smartphone from the people that wrote the operating system. Could this be the one? It has the Qualcomm 1 GH processor but only 4 GB internal memory. We can upgrade it to 16 with a micro SD, but it only has a 5 MP camera and a 3.7 inch display. It does have long 420 talk minutes. It is a really good phone but let's see if there is something else out there.
HTC EVO 4G Android
Wow, look, the hunt is getting better. Check out that HTC EVO 4G phone. It has a 4.3 inch display with the same processor as the HTC Droid and an 8 MP camera. Hard to see what it's talk time minutes are but it has only 8 GB internal memory. We can upgrade the memory to 32 GB with a micro SD but I see some signs of another beast lurking around the corner.
Motorola Droid X Android
Now we're talking. Look at that Motorola Droid X. It has a 4.3 inch display with a little better resolution than the EVO. It possesses a TI ARM 1 GH processor and a 8 MP camera. The 8 GB internal memory includes an upgrade of 32 MB using a micro SD for a total of 40 GB. The 480 minute talk time puts it well above the pack. Looks like we finally found the best Android phone in the jungle. Let's bag this one and take it home.
