The Best April Fool's Prank

Bret Desgrosellier
Ok, so I have been searching online for April Fool's pranks, trying to figure out which ones were the best, and which ones were the worst. First off, let me explain what April Fool's was made.

So a long time ago, during April there was a committee on how to kill this fool. Well turned out the fool was the king, and they it lead into easter and thats why we have christmas! April Fool's!

One of the pranks included a television broadcast in 1957 about how there was an unusually large speghetti harvest this year. The television broadcast brought it very large numbers of people calling and asking about how to "Grow their own spegetti tree."

Another which was a funny broadcast, was an "Arm the homeless" coalition, which brought out the notion to arm the homeless, so they have ways to protect themselves against crime.

This one was pretty bad, I mean, in todays world it would be a national crisis. But in 1933 the Wisconson State capitol building was said to have collapsed, do to random explosions, and leaving deadly gas and other things in the air. This one was not too funny, but people were aware that it was a prank, but then again there were some that didn't know that it was.

So now, it comes to my favorite prank... The Taco Bell Liberty Bell! Taco bell ran in 6 major newspapers that ,

"In an effort to help the national debt, Taco Bell is pleased to announce that we have agreed to purchase the Liberty Bell, one of our country's most historic treasures. It will now be called the 'Taco Liberty Bell' and will still be accessible to the American public for viewing. While some may find this controversial, we hope our move will prompt other corporations to take similar action to do their part to reduce the country's debt."

Which of course, was just an April Fool's joke!

Tell us more about pranks you know, comment below! Thanks.
