Kaz Sushi Bistro
1915 I St. NW, Washington, DC 20006
202-530-5500
Serving Japanese, seafood, and sushi, Chef Kaz Okochi creates Japan with his masterful and wonderful dishes. If you like sushi and authentic Japanese food, this is the place for you. After some sushi and some chilled sake to sooth my throat, I was completely sold.
Meiwah Restaurant
1200 New Hampshire Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20036

What a beautiful two-story restaurant that sits in the heart of Chinatown. Serving duck and Cornish game hens, Meiwah Restaurant doesn't disappoint the real lovers of authentic Chinese food. This restaurant is not pricey at all; with entrees in the mid teens. I have eaten there a few times and was always satisfied with the food and service.
Murasaki
4620 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20016
202-966-0023
Murasaki is another great Japanese and sushi bistro that takes you to Japan after every bite. I really don't like ice cream. However, after one taste of Goma ice cream, I was addicted. With dishes that will certainly challenge your taste buds and cure your curiosity, Murasaki is a top restaurant that you should definitely visit.

Yee Hwa
1009 21st St. NW, Washington, DC 20036
202-833-1244
In downtown Washington DC, Yee Hwa is one of the many great Asian restaurants in the city. You can find the best Asian and Korean dishes here. I just love the kalbi (short ribs) and the (bulbogi) beef that is served soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and sugar. The meat is combined with steamed rice and then wrapped in lettuce. Yee Hwa is definitely an "A" list restaurant.
